Our name combines two Māori terms: "ā" and "ki". To us, the combination symbolises the concept of "possessing direction" or "guiding ownership" of your space. It reflects the idea of empowering people to control and enhance their environment with intention and beauty through the use of meaningful décor.

Aki Store is proudly owned by VAKA, a 3D printing company who have set out to ignite a new wave of everyday entrepreneurs. Our team of Māori and Pasifika creatives, born and raised in South Auckland, is on a mission to inspire you to become the curator of your home.
